Game two of the 2018 Mississippi State football season is this weekend. Game one went incredibly well for the Bulldogs as they jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first quarter over the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks. From that early and quick 21-0 lead, Mississippi State built a 63-6 towering victory over the Lumberjacks.
And that’s exactly the kind of start that a brand new head coach could want for his football program.
The Bulldogs didn’t really struggle all that much in the first game under Joe Moorhead’s leadership. They came out, took care of business, and wrapped things up nicely.
