Joe Moorhead’s first game as the head coach of the Mississippi State football team was a brilliant one. The Bulldogs came out and dominated Stephen F. Austin all the way through from start to finish and in almost every aspect of the game.
It started pretty much as soon as the game started. As soon as Mississippi State’s offense got hold of the ball, it found a quick way to score thanks to an explosive play. On the very first pass of the game from Keytaon Thompson to Kylin Hill, MSU jumped out to a 7-0 lead when Hill took the short pass up field for a 53 yard score.
