At 3:01 pm on this Saturday, the Mississippi State football team will walk out on to Scott Field for the first time under Joe Moorhead. For the first time since the 2008 football season, Mississippi State football will be coached by someone other than Dan Mullen.
Given who has been selected to lead the Bulldogs into the future, that is a pretty good thing. Moorhead has been an incredibly successful coach throughout his career in several different stops. His schemes turned Penn State’s offense into a juggernaut and, as a head coach, he made Fordham incredibly competitive.
