With last night’s dominant win over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, the Mississippi State football team is now set for a bowl game for the 9th straight season. Obtaining bowl eligibility that many times in a row officially sets a new record for the Mississippi State football program.
Last night, Mississippi State dragged Louisiana Tech up and down the field. In the battle between the Bulldogs, MSU struck quickly thanks to Nick Fitzgerald’s arm and a brilliant connection that he had with his receivers, tight ends, and running backs. Fitzgerald completed 17 of 28 passes for 243 yards and 4 touchdowns, lighting up Louisiana Tech’s defense the entire time he was on the field.
