Mississippi State football is off to a great start. The team sits at 2-0 on the season and is ranked 16th in the country by both the Associated Press and the Coaches.
The Bulldogs dominated the Kansas State Wildcats this past Saturday. The Mississippi State football defense limited the Wildcats to just over 200 yards. In fact, Kylin Hill had more total yards from scrimmage than the entire Wildcat team.
It was his outstanding play, and the play of Defensive Lineman Montez Sweat that earned some recognition by the SEC. Each week, the SEC names players for Weekly Honors.
