With everyone focusing on Hurricane Hermine in the Gulf of Mexico, someone may have forgotten that we have college football this weekend. But that’s not the case with me, so I’m here to bring us back to the place where we all grab our cowbells and enjoy some Mississippi State football.
With that in mind, we have a high pressure ridge moving in which is pushing Hurricane Hermine out of the Gulf and towards the bend in Florida. This high pressure will control the weather for a long while in Mississippi, and should provide a toasty opening weekend of football.
