For the second week in a row, the Mississippi State football team’s offense completely failed the Bulldogs against a team from the SEC East. This time, the Bulldogs completely fell apart against the Florida Gators and Dan Mullen.
Nick Fitzgerald completed 11 of 26 passes. He ran the ball 20 times for 32 yards. That’s 1.6 yards per carry. All of Mississippi State’s points came thanks to the leg of Jace Christmann with two field goals.
The Mississippi State football team is now 3-2 and is 0-2 in the SEC. The Bulldogs fell on their faces when trying to take on their former coach as their current coach couldn’t get anything that even remotely resembled an offense on the field.
