The numbers put up by the Mississippi State football team’s defense are so impressive they are staggering. The Bulldogs entered the game with the LSU Tigers giving up just under 13 points a game. Against LSU, they gave up 19, seven of which came after LSU returned an interception to the Mississippi State three yard line.
And the Bulldogs weren’t even close to winning.
The offensive ineptitude of the Mississippi State football team has become preposterous at this point. Against the four SEC opponents MSU has played, the Bulldogs have scored 7, 6, 23, and 3 points.
