It was announced last night that Mississippi State would be hosting a regional in the NCAA Tournament for the 13th time. This morning, the full bracket was released, and in addition, it was announced that for the first time in program history, Mississippi State will be a national seed. State is one of four SEC national seeds, which is the most in conference history.

- Florida
- Louisville
- Miami
- Texas A&M
- Texas Tech
- Mississippi State
- Clemson
- LSU
MSU is the 6th national seed and is paired with UL Lafayette for a possible super regional matchup.
