Jones was picked up in Starkville for speeding, the Jackson (Miss.) Clarion-Ledger reported.
Jones was driving on a suspended license; he had an unpaid traffic ticket. He posted bond and was released Wednesday.
While this did involve an arrest, this is not going to set off any alarms with NFL teams. Jones is considered a potential first-round pick in April’s NFL draft.
Saturday, Bulldogs quarterback Dak Prescott was charged with DUI.
