Mississippi State drops Game Three against Ole Miss

The Bulldogs' Sunday struggles continued against Ole Miss preventing MSU from getting the sweep.

Mississippi State (20-8-1, 6-3 SEC) dropped today's meeting with the Ole Miss Rebels (21-7, 3-6 SEC) but still maintains a one game lead in the SEC West.

Daniel Brown got the start for MSU and surrendered three hits and two runs in 1.0 innings of work. Ryan Rigby (3-1) would relieve him and hurl 4.0 innings of work in what was his first loss of the season and career in Starkville. The Bulldogs would also turn to Vance Tatum, Ethan Small, and Blake Smith before turning to Reid Humphreys to finish the game out.
