Junior Caroline Seitz drove in four runs, and the Mississippi State Bulldogs came from behind to knock off the No. 11 LSU Tigers 7-2 Friday in Starkville to open their Super Bulldog Weekend Series.
The Tigers (30-13, 5-11) scored two runs in the top of the first to take a quick lead over the Bulldogs. A first inning triple put the first Tiger run in scoring position, and the second run eventually scored on an RBI by sacrifice fly by Kellsi Kloss.
The Bulldogs (23-18, 3-10) got one back in the bottom of the first thanks to Kayla Winkfield's lead off triple and a sacrifice fly by Katie Anne Bailey.
