For the first time in a decade, the Mississippi State Bulldogs (18-6 overall, 6-5 SEC) have taken four SEC games in a row. The Bulldogs took down a talented, yet inconsistent, Alabama team (15-9 overall, 6-5 SEC) by a score of 67-63 tonight.
Points came at a premium for most of the game as both teams brought their defenses to play tonight. The Bulldogs shot an alright 46% from the field, but struggled mightily from 3 point range, hitting only 2 of their 19 attempts. However, MSU’s defense was a slight step ahead as it held the Tide to 37% shooting and 3 of 22 from behind the arc.
