The Mississippi State Bulldogs may have dropped their first matchup with the Utah Valley Wolverines. That certainly may be true. But thanks to a powerful comeback effort, Mississippi State took down the Wolverines in the second game of their doubleheader by a score of 4 to 2.
Like game one, Mississippi State struck first. This time, the Bulldogs claimed a 1-0 lead in the 1st inning. After Jake Mangum struck out and Hunter Stovall earned a four pitch walk, Tanner Allen came in and doubled into right field, bringin Stovall home.
Utah Valley tied things up in the 3rd with a RBI single into center field.
