Mississippi State (17-6-1, 4-1 SEC) couldn't repeat the absolute offensive explosion that they had last night, but Starkville's very own Bulldogs wound up beating Georgia in a 3-1 comeback pitcher's duel tonight.
The battle between Bulldog pitchers would be a scoreless affair up until the top of the sixth inning. Both Austin Sexton for MSU and Robert Tyler from Georgia would each strike out six hitters in their respective six frames pitching.
