When the Mississippi State basketball team took the court against the Texas Longhorns this past Sunday, it was viewed by many as a litmus test for how much this team had lost when four of their five starters graduated this past season. If Sunday was any indicator, they haven’t lost much at all.
The Bulldogs hammered the Texas Longhorns by 18 points. It proved that despite the losses from a season ago, this Mississippi State basketball squad is just as much of a force to be reckoned with as the teams from the previous two seasons.
The Mississippi State basketball team was ranked 6th in the country last week.
