Vic Schaefer has to be proud of how his 8th ranked Mississippi State basketball team played today.
The Bulldogs (12-1 overall) came out and finished 2018 with a tremendous and impressive victory over the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns (2-9 overall). MSU crushed their competition today with a smothering defense and an offense that simply couldn’t be stopped.
MSU’s starters were able to get plenty of rest in the process has well. 13 different players were able to get out on the floor today to some degree and no starter played more than Teaira McCowan’s 21 minutes.
Of MSU’s starters, Anriel Howard led the way for MSU scoring with 16 points.
