A season ago, for the first time ever, MSU’s women’s basketball program came out on top of the SEC during the regular season. Now, Vic Schaefer and the No. 7 Mississippi State basketball team will start working on defending their SEC regular season championship as they begin conference play this evening.
At 6:00 pm tonight, the Bulldogs and the Razorbacks will get things started in Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville.
Schaefer and the Bulldogs have to be hoping that this year’s SEC schedule will go something like last season. Mississippi State basketball fans would certainly enjoy such a feat being repeated this year.
