To say the first two SEC games for the Mississippi State Basketball team were a disappointment would be an understatement. After winning 12 of 13 in the non conference portion of the schedule, the Bulldogs were ranked 14th and flying high as they traveled to South Carolina to take on the Gamecocks.
But things went south quickly in the next two games for the Mississippi State basketball team. The Bulldogs lost to South Carolina and Ole Miss, and it left fans wondering if this was going to be more of the same for what they had experienced with the men’s team ever since Rick Stansbury was let go.
