Well, Mississippi State certainly didn’t struggle against the Louisville Cardinals tonight. On the road in the quarterfinals of the NIT, Ben Howland had his Mississippi State Bulldogs ready to bulldoze anything in their path.
That’s exactly what MSU did tonight.
Mississippi State scorched Louisville’s defense for 79 points and made the Cardinals ineffective offensively, holding them to 56 points. As such, the Bulldogs won by 23 in a game that State only trailed for a total of two minutes and nine seconds of game time.
The Bulldogs seriously had no issues at all.
