Earlier this season, the Mississippi State baseball team was supposed to take on the University of Memphis in a midweek contest. The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 23rd, but there was such severe weather in the area the game had to be postponed to this Wednesday.
Getting patrons to show up for weekend games is never a problem. People make special plans to come to the game, and there is always a special atmosphere for those games.
