The NCAA moved back a game in the 2018 College World Series. To be specific, it’s the 6th game of the 2018 College World Series. And, well, as it turns out, that game would have been between the Mississippi State baseball team and the North Carolina Tar Heels.
The Bulldogs and Tar Heels were originally slated to play each other Monday evening, after the elimination game between the Oregon State Beavers and the Washington Huskies. Oregon State and Washington just finished their game, and Washington is heading home, but MSU doesn’t get to play tonight.
The reason that Oregon State and Washington’s game, which started at 1:00 pm central time, finished after 9:00 pm central time, is due to some truly awful weather.
