The Mississippi State baseball team (8-1 overall, 0-0 conference) got yet another impressive, dominant win as the Bulldogs completely shut down the Southeastern Louisiana Lions (2-5 overall, 0-0 conference). Mississippi State won 12-0 last night, giving MSU even more momentum going into the Frisco Classic this weekend.
The Bulldogs got the game going by taking a 4-0 lead last night in the first inning as Justin Foscue launched a grand slam. That lead was insurmountable as it was, but the Mississippi State baseball team continued to add runs onto the scoreboard last night.
Gunner Halter hit a solo shot home run to extend that lead out to 5-0 in the second inning and then Jake Mangum brought a couple more runs home with a single in the 4th inning, brining the score to 7-0.
