Mississippi State baseball is back in Starkville. The Bulldogs were on the road, traveling up to Missouri and down to Baton Rouge over the past couple of weeks but they’re here at home once again. Mississippi State is in need of wins and they’re taking on an outmatched opponent in Southern University.
State is currently 14-15 on the year and a miserably 2-7 in Southeastern Conference play. The month of April won’t be kind as the Bulldogs will face a ton of talented SEC teams over the next few weekends.
But, tonight, MSU is hosting Southern University who is 7-18 this season and 4-7 in SWAC play.
