The Mississippi State baseball team got some solid recognition from the Southeastern Conference this afternoon. The Bulldogs got two players onto the 2018 All-SEC Teams this season.
Jake Mangum, the Bulldogs’ junior centerfielder earned First Team All-SEC recognition as well as the SEC All Defensive team. Freshman infielder Tanner Allen earned a spot on the All-SEC Freshman Team.
Mangum leads the Bulldogs with his .350 batting average and currently also leads the entire SEC with 82 hits this season. On top of that, Jake Mangum has also hit 20 doubles, leading the Bulldogs as well.
