Last night, Mississippi State Baseball got an incredibly needed win against Alcorn State. Tonight, Mississippi State will take on the Tigers of Texas Southern University in what is also an equally needed game.
MSU can’t afford any more midweek losses for the rest of the year if they want to make it in the postseason tournament. As it is, this season the Bulldogs’ chances aren’t looking so great. This game against Texas Southern tonight will give Mississippi State a chance at a necessary win against an inferior opponent.
