The 2016 SEC Champions brought another staff member to Starkville yesterday. The Bulldogs announced the hiring of Mike Brown to be the camps coordinator and volunteer assistant.
Brown was most recently with New Mexico State University where he coached third base and was crucial in the development of their hitters and outfielders. While there, he was a key cog in turning the Aggies' offense around, bringing them to the top of the Western Athletic Conference in batting average, slugging percentage, runs, RBIs, doubles, and home runs. The offensive renaissance in Las Cruces, New Mexico brought in 23 more wins in 2015 than they had the season before.
