Kendall Graveman had a great career for Mississippi State baseball. So far, he’s been having a pretty good one for the Oakland A’s. Now this season, Graveman has been named the Oakland Athletics’ starter for Opening Day.
While Graveman was in Starkville, he helped guide Mississippi State to Omaha in 2013. During that year when MSU made a run at the College World Series, Graveman started 19 games, had a 3.09 ERA, and struck out 69 batters in 113.2 innings pitched.
In his entire career at MSU, Graveman compiled a record of 19-13, including two year stretch from 2012 to 2013 where he went started all 35 games that he competed in and went 12-9.
