The Mississippi State baseball team continues to amaze and confuse fans in some of the best ways possible. After falling to Memphis earlier this week, the Mississippi State Bulldogs came back and beat the Arkansas Razorbacks 6-5 tonight.
The Bulldogs have normally had a ton of success from starting pitcher Konnor Pilkington, but things just weren’t there for Mississippi State’s ace tonight. Unfortunately for MSU, Pilkington got roughed up a bit in the 2nd inning as the Razorbacks claimed a 4-0 lead. That lead held up until the 5th inning when Arkansas extended it out to 5-0.
But Mississippi State didn’t allow for the game to get out of hand and away from them.
