Mississippi State’s baseball team has traveled all across the state of Texas to play over the past week or so, and the Bulldogs trip has landed them in Minute Maid Park to compete in the Shriner’s Collegiate Classic. In Mississippi State’s first game of their time in Houston, the Bulldogs came away with a solid victory over the Ragin’ Cajuns of Louisiana-Lafayette.
Konnor Pilkington represented the Maroon and White on the mound and completely took over the game. In the 7 innings that the 6-3 junior left handed pitcher threw, Pilkington struck out half of his opponent’s batters, 13 of 26.
