Mississippi State baseball continues to prove that it can compete with and beat anyone in the country. For the second time this weekend, the Mississippi State Bulldogs have knocked off the number one team in the nation. This time, Mississippi State won in blowout fashion, beating the Gators by a score of 12-4.
Mississippi State didn’t waste much time to get on the board against the No. 1 Florida Gators. The Bulldogs jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the 1st inning. Florida would then tie things up in the top of the 2nd, but the Bulldogs would go out and score four more unanswered runs.
