Making it through the three grueling stages of LPGA Qualifying tournaments is not an easy feat, but on Sunday former Mississippi State All-American Ally McDonald did just that en route to earning Category 17 status.
In the 90-hole tournament, she shot a total of 357 to finished tied for 22th.
A total of 157 players in the field competed for LPGA Tour membership in category 12 and 17 on the 2016 LPGA priority list.
The Top 20 finishers (no ties) following Sunday’s round earned Category 12 membership while players who finish 21-45 plus ties earned membership through Category 17.
