The annual Mississippi State football Maroon and White game was certainly a success by every significant measure. Joe Moorhead’s first game went according to plan, a multitude of MSU fans showed up, and the Bulldogs featured a variety of big plays from both the Maroon and White team on both the offense and the defense.
Mississippi State split its team up but still had several players featured on both sides of the ball. Backup quarterback Keytaon Thompson was one of those.
Thompson led both offenses throughout the game and helped push the Maroon team to a 28-10 lead.
