Mississippi State snapped a two-game losing streak this past Saturday with a 35-10 win over BYU, and plays host to Kentucky this week in a pivotal matchup for both teams.
Even with the BYU win, though, much of the chatter from Bulldogs fans has revolved around MSU’s passing game, or lack thereof.
Bulldogs quarterback Nick Fitzgerald was 19-of-30 (63 percent) or 241 yards and two touchdowns. But he also threw two interceptions — one in the end zone, the other from just outside the 20 — and Bulldogs receivers dropped six passes on the day.
