Throughout the year, Mississippi State football has taken to regularly recognizing a couple, and sometimes a handful, of players as their “Student-Athletes of the Week.” This designation is given out weekly (obviously) and seems to change each week (not really shocking).
This week, Fletcher Adams and Kylin Hill have been named as the “Student-Athletes of the Week.” Last week, Dontea Jones and Reggie Todd earned the designation. The recognition starts back in January and continues to, well, today.
The timeframe from which this started seemingly indicates that it is something started during the Joe Moorhead era.
