The Mississippi State football team had a pretty solid offensive showing on Saturday. If there hadn’t been relevant breaking news that caught everyone’s attention, a casual observer may not have known that the Mississippi State Bulldogs didn’t actually have their starting quarterback. The offense seemed to work as it should. There was little reason to question as to whether or not MSU had its starting quarterback in the game.
But that news did exist. Nick Fitzgerald was unfortunately suspended. The Bulldogs had to play without him to start the Joe Moorhead era.
