Kerryon Johnson ran for 145 yards and a TD and also caught a scoring pass as the Tigers (7-2 overall, 5-1 in the SEC) pulled away from the host Aggies (5-4, 3-3), increasing the heat on Aggies coach Kevin Sumlin. The Aggies are 3-11 at home against SEC West opponents since joining the league for the 2012 season. Auburn took control at the end of the first half, blocking a punt for a TD and a 21-13 lead with 29 seconds left; then, on its second drive of the second half, a short TD pass from Jarrett Stidham to Ryan Davis gave the Tigers a 28-13 lead with 10:45 left in the third quarter.
