The Wildcats’ offensive coordinator said he’s ready to introduce “new wrinkles” to the offensive game plan, part of weekly interviews Tuesday ahead of Kentucky’s matchup against Mississippi State and its much-improved defense.
Under first-year defensive coordinator Grantham, Mississippi State has jumped more than 100 positions from last year in the NCAA’s total defense rankings. The Wildcats solved his system last year while he was at Louisville, inflicting a 41-38 defeat on the Cardinals and Heisman Trophy winner Lamar Jackson.
