Preseason accolades continue to pile up for Mississippi State football defensive lineman Chris Jones and defensive back Will Redmond. The Football Writers Association of America announced Friday both being included on the 2015 watch list for the Nagurski Trophy, while Jones was additionally selected to the watch list for the 2015 Outland Trophy. The Nagurski Trophy honors the national defensive player of the year, while the Outland Trophy is given to the top interior lineman in college football.
Jones made both watch lists after collecting 26 tackles with 3.5 tackles for loss as a sophomore last season.
