On today’s episode of It’s Always Sunny in Starkville, Co-Site Expert Justin Strawn looks at the Mississippi State football team’s selection to the Outback Bowl. It’s been a long time coming for Bulldog fans who snubbed MSU way back in 1999.
There is plenty of evidence to suggest the Outback Bowl was hoping for a different team in Maroon and White besides the Mississippi State football team. John Cohen and the SEC had to apply quite a bit of pressure to get the Bulldogs to Tampa.
But this is the reason the SEC went to the bowl selection process it did.
