Mississippi State junior right-hander Dakota Hudson has been tabbed the Midseason Pitcher of the Year by Perfect Game.
Hudson has made seven starts this season with a 4-1 record and leads the SEC with a 0.92 ERA. He is also fourth in the conference with 56 strikeouts over 48 2/3 innings of work.
In league play, the Dunlap, Tennessee native is 2-0 with a flawless ERA, 24 strikeouts and just three walks in 25 innings.
In addition to being named Midseason Pitcher of the Year, Hudson was also selected first team Midseason All-American by Perfect Game as well.
