Mississippi State’s Dakota Hudson received his sixth All-American distinction after the junior pitcher was picked to Perfect Game’s third team.
Hudson was named a second team All-American by Baseball America, Louisville Slugger and the NCBWA and a third team All-American by D1 Baseball.com and ABCA.
The Dunlap, Tennessee native went 9-5 in 17 starts with a 2.55 ERA, 115 strikeouts and 35 walks over 113 innings of work.
Hudson signed a $2 million contract after the St. Louis Cardinals drafted him 34th overall. He will begin his professional career in the Gulf Coast League.
