The Houston Texans like drafting Mississippi State Bulldogs, apparently. Jordan Thomas, a tight end for the Mississippi State football team, will be headed down to Houston as he was drafted by the Texans in the 6th round of the NFL Draft today!
Thomas arrived in Starkville as the 9th best junior college recruit in the state of Mississippi. He showed up at 6-5 and 295 pounds, but dropped down to about 280, according to the MSU roster. Now, the giant tight end is looking to make an impact with the Texans.
In his two years playing for Mississippi State football, Thomas caught 31 receptions for 311 yards and four touchdowns.
