Houston Astros Draft Mississippi State Baseball’s JP France

The Mississippi State baseball team is sending JP France on to the professional baseball scene. The World Series Champs, the Houston Astros, selected Mississippi State’s JP France to come join their organization with the 432nd pick in the 14th round of the 2018 Major League Baseball Draft.

France arrived on Mississippi State’s campus as a pitcher transferring in to the Maroon and White. He moved to Starkville after playing the bulk of his career at Tulane University. While at Tulane, France appeared in a total of 48 games. Through those 48 games, 31 of them were starts.
