Mississippi State hasn't had much national recruiting cachet for most of its history, but the Bulldogs just might be developing a recruiting pipeline outside their home state -- and not one that would be expected.
Dan Mullen and his staff managed to sign more recruits (seven) in the 2015 class from the state of Alabama than the ever-powerful Crimson Tide did (six). And while that might be brushed off as an effect of Bama's national recruiting profile, Mississippi State had the same number of commits from the state of Alabama as Auburn did.
