Mississippi State’s annual Governor’s Cup game with in-state rival Ole Miss has been pushed back to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
The Governor’s Cup is held at Trustmark Park, home of the Mississippi Braves, and will be televised this year by SEC Network.
The Bulldogs will serve as the home team for this year’s match-up.
State will send freshman right-hander Ryan Cyr (1-0, 0.00 ERA) to the mound for his first start while the Rebels go with junior righty Chad Smith (3-3, 4.99).
The Mayor’s Trophy/ Governor’s Cup series is nodded at 18 wins each.
