Good morning, Stark Vegas! Men’s and women’s basketball had big games this weekend and both turned out well for the Bulldogs. Selection Sunday (college football version) was yesterday and we learned the fate of where State’s going bowling.

MBB defeats Dayton on the road

UD Arena is a very tough place to play in, and Ben Howland’s crew got the job done. Quinndary Weatherspoon had 21 points and 12 rebounds in their 65-58 win over the Flyers, but the team shot 31.8% from three-point range. That needs to improve. They’ll play McNeese State tomorrow in Starkville.
