Women’s Basketball advances to the Elite Eight and is upset by Oregon

For the third straight year, the Mississippi State women’s team made a run to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Women’s Tournament after defeating the No. 5 seed Arizona State 76-53 on Friday night. On Sunday, Mississippi State squared off against Oregon in Portland and was upset 88-84. In her last game, Tiera McCowan scored 19 and added 15 rebounds and 4 blocks.
