OMAHA, Neb. – J.T. Ginn isn’t a prophet. He’s just a baseball player. Yet when the Mississippi State freshman right-handed pitcher made the decision to turn down Major League Baseball after being a first-round draft selection in 2018, part of the reason was he felt he’d be able to take the mound for the Bulldogs in big moments. They don’t get much bigger than what Ginn will see on Thursday.
Ginn will be on the mound at the College World Series at 7 p.m. Thursday as MSU battles Louisville in an elimination game.
