Mississippi State closed out the regular season by winning four of its final six games.
Now the 11th-seeded Bulldogs will test their fortunes in the postseason by taking on No. 6 seed Georgia in the SEC Tournament at approximately 8:30 p.m. on SEC Network.
“We have been playing better down the stretch,” said MSU coach Ben Howland. “Hopefully we will play our best game, which we will need to do, against a team like Georgia that’s fighting to get into the NCAA Tournament.”
The SEC Tournament has not been kind to MSU of late.
